On October 8th, 2022, at the Torre Guaceto Reserve divers and snorkelling enthusiasts discovered the marine habitats of the Torre Guaceto MPA.
The Al Gawsit Visitor Centre will host the SeaLab dedicated to the emergency arising from the presence of waste and plastics in the sea and on the seabed. The event is organised by the Apulia Region’s Department for the Environment, Landscape and Urban Quality and the CMCC Foundation – Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change.
The event is implemented by the Apulia Region within the CASCADE project – “CoAStal and marine waters integrated monitoring systems for ecosystems proteCtion AnD management” financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Croatia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.
