Healthy City, Maritime Sport Society Spinut, Sports Fishing Society Strozanac and Institute of oceanography and fisheries Split with the support of LP, Municipality of Podstrana, organized the 3rdPartner and Steering Committee Meeting of ECOMAP project. The meeting took place in Split at Healthy City premises and was also held online to enable partners who could not come to Split to participate. The ECOMAP project contributes to the goal of eco-equilibrium and eco-efficiency by sharing new types of planning for the sustainability of ports and marinas in the Italian and Croatian Adriatic seathrough: innovative methodologies, investments on tools and small infrastructures and education of personnel and involved parties. Thefirst day of the meeting was organized to analyse the project progress made by each partner andwith the aim of planning the future activities.
On the second day the Steering Committee had a meeting with the virtual presence of Mr Marin Miletić, the JS project manager, to discuss the present state and future development of the project activities that are affected by the issues caused by the pandemic. The Steering Committee members prepared a brief presentation of the activities progress and discussed possible major budget and activities changes of the project.
After the conclusion of the meeting, the partners went to the pilot sites visit in marinas Špinut, Strožanac and Podstrana beach to see the ecosustainable improvement of the pilot sites in Croatia and to exchange good practices with the Italian marinas.
